How to buy GalacticSpaceBucks (GSB) on Pancakeswap
GSB is not yet listed on Pancakeswap as it will be launched on the 1st of June. Trading is not yet active. This tutorial is created so that you can prepare for the launch!
Install a Metamask wallet or a Trustwallet
First you need to install a Metamask wallet or a Trustwallet. There is no preference, just use the wallet you like the most. After installation you have to send some BNB to your new wallet. If you click on the account in Metamask your address is automatically copied into your clipboard.
Add GSB as a custom token
GalacticSpaceBucks (GSB) will not show up automatically in your new wallet. You will have to add GSB as a custom token.
In Metamask scroll down in your assets until you see a button “Add token”. Click “Add token”. In the next screen you will only have to copy/paste the contract address of GSB which is 0xe4f4ef77ebb5e1f620513ee83955d64defd9c31f. The other fields will be completed automatically. Click “Next” and “Add tokens”. GSB will show up in your list of assets.
Buy GalacticSpaceBucks on Pancakeswap
Go to https://exchange.pancakeswap.finance/
Make sure that your Metamask wallet or Trustwallet are connected. You can check whether your wallet is connected in the top right corner of the Pancakeswap page. If you see a button “Connect” then you will have to push that button and authorize the transaction in your wallet. If you see a wallet address in the top right corner you are good to go.
You will get the following popup in Pancakeswap (see screenshot below). It can take a few seconds before this popup shows up. If it doesn’t show up then refresh the page. Check the “I understand” box and click on “Continue”.
Enter the amount of BNB you want to invest in GSB in the From field and the amount of GSB you will get shows up in the To (estimate) field. Click “Swap” and authorize the transaction.
Wait a few seconds and the GSB tokens will show up in your wallet! Congrats!!!
